Florida Coasts Section of Florida Nature Guide Introduction

This section of Florida Nature Guide has been developed to benefit our site visitors who would like to focus on Florida’s beautiful natural shoreline adventures.  If there is one thing which comes to mind when you think of Florida, it is comfortable, entertaining sandy beaches and coastal areas.  Due to the abundance of resources and areas this coastal state includes, a site dedicated to Florida coastal interests.

Within this section, we are highlighting the natural and unspoiled beaches along with the adjoining near coastal areas.  The focus of all our Florida Nature Guide sites (Home Site, Natural Areas, Hiking & Trails, Wildlife Viewing and of course Coastal) is on the less developed “natural” areas of Florida.  Our research is targeted toward developing articles, tools and other resources for your enjoyment of these “Old Florida” areas.

When possible, the sites we provide links to also provide helpful tools and articles for your adventures near and along Florida’s coasts which benefit your natural Florida experience.  The major metropolitan nightlife and other “hot” destinations are generally not included within our pages.  There are a wealth of sites available for these activities and would simply be a distraction from the key interests of our “Florida Coasts” section.

This site will be continually developed with additional articles and tools for your visit to our coastal areas, so be sure to check any areas of interest again before or during your visit.  Providing the latest area information is an on-going activity and our pages (including this one) will be updated frequently.  Don’t miss out on what’s new along Florida’s coastline for your recreational adventures near the beautiful beaches of Florida.
