One of the Florida Keys “secret beaches” is Sombrero Beach in Marathon.  This beach is half way down the Overseas Highway at mile marker 50. Turn south and travel about 3 miles, past the local high school and enjoy this wonderful free beach. There are picnic pavilions, showers and facilities, BBQ grills and many opportunities for oceanfront water sports.
