The Camp Helen State Park is conveniently located off the scenic 30A coastal highway between Grayton Beach State Park and Panama City Beach. This somewhat smaller state park has a wide diversity of ecosystems including not only the shoreline along the Gulf of Mexico, but also the large coastal dune lake named Lake Powell.
This variety of coastal environments will provide abundant opportunities to enjoy outdoor exploration for those of all interests. Naturalists will be able to experience flora and fauna viewing while beachcombers explore the natural and beautiful Emerald Coast beaches.
